My Kindle arrived yesterday! I am very very excited about it!! Adam is a good gift-buyer. I never would have bought a Kindle for myself, but I totally love having one. The first book I'm reading on it is Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!, which is okay. I love that you can download the first chapter of a book before you buy it, to check it out. I met an internet friend in RL today! yogurtrifle and I ate Vietnamese sandwiches and walked around and talked. It was fun. She likes dubstep and knows lots about animal brains and has awesome politics. YAY ( Read more... )

I'm in Richmond, California, at Adam's mom's house. It's been unseasonably hot (like 28 degrees) and very sunny.
